My first digiscrap

I took some pictures of the girls last week and this is the digiscrap I made of them. I think it's soooo cute!

It's from A5D. I love their designs there. The kit is Zen Garden.

My donation work...

All morning I've been working on sending out donation tags in hopes of raising $300 for March of Dimes. My first donation is coming from my Tia Irma who lives in Corpus Christi TX yay!! Very excited! See any amount goes a long way!

In the mist of getting donations for this walk, I am prepping for the 3 day event and the fund-raising that's to come.

If you saw my ongoing bucket list, you will see that I have in there to walk for two causes. That is my goal, something I intend on keeping. Although I think I might walk twice for March of Dimes, to help support another girlfriend, whose daughter was a preemie. My dad was a preemie too and so was my uncle. I believe the story went, my dad was so small he fit in a shoe box and they nick named him "Peanut". He has since passed about 15 years ago. Not from natural causes. Then there's my uncle, he is SUPER tall it's hard to believe he was so tiny.

My friend Bre who I am walking with has her own story too, all the stories from all these families are so touching, and I am glad I can contribute my time for a good cause.

Bucket list

Thanks Bre,
I got the idea from her blog. I have some things I want to do in the next couple of years, so my bucket list is a tad more realistic then some i saw on the internet. I know there is no way possible I will travel to so many countries, if I could I would in a heart beat.

But creating this list gives me ideas to think outside the box of what I really would like to accomplish. so my goal is to finish the list. As well as things surrounding my health, my time and my future.

I think that's a good way to start 2010.

Just signed up!

I couldn't donate to my girlfriend who is walking for March for Dimes so I joined her team!! I am excited! I like the feeling of contributing and being helpful.

Read her story

"This year I am walking/running for all of my friends that have lost babies to premature labor. I want to spread the word of the march of dimes and help support a great cause.

With my son, I had a very uneventful pregnancy and then when i went 8 days overdue he was not doing good. When I delivered him he wasnt breathing and a shade of dark purple. Luckily the Nicu Team were there and were able to save my little boy. He is a very healthy 2 year old now!

With my daughter, I started having preterm labor at around 25 weeks. I had gone to the hospital so many times and recieved countless shots of Terb to stop the contractions. Thank goodness that she decided to wait until 38 weeks to come. She is a very healthy 1 year old now!

Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.

Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!

Thank You So Much For Your Donations!!!

XO

Breanna!

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality."

Please click the banner and help sponsor, anything you give is a lot and nothing is to little.

I just updated this blog today, like the lay out?
If you want one like it, go to the bottom right of my page and click on that link!
She does great work!!

I wish I would've found her yesterday lol

Last night I made a new blog for my 3 day walk journey!

http://pinkforthecure.blogspot.com/

Check it out and don't forget to friend me! Show your support, I think that is what will help me get through the struggles of a 20 mile walk for 3 days in a row lol

Gabe thinks I am crazy for doing this. I think what's crazy is thinking of ways to fund-raise $2300 on my own!! Now that is crazy, but I won't let that be the thing that stops me! I have plenty of time.

Well off to get kids bathed and dressed, it's going to be a rainy day but they need a good washin lol hahaha
